Is science a social job?

This story proves science as a social job because most of the scientist needed help from other peoples information and tools. In science other peoples data is opened to help their research and improve on laws and theory. Thomas Burnett is an example of those scientist who need another scientist help. His friend and colleague Isaac Newton, assisted and endorsed his book. Without Newtons help Thomas wouldn't be able to publish or even be able to complete his book. Also Jean -Andre de Luc made a tool that was used by Saussure in Alps.
I would have a social job because I would meet new people who have different ideas and learn new discoveries. I would have a social job of being a doctor. This job is a very difficult job even though it is a social job. Working with other people will create new ideas and could spark an discovery of new ways to cure diseases and a better way of surgery.
