Over the years, the massive migrations of Southeast Asians to the United States brought along thier traditional ideas of health and forms of healing. The most common was called cao gio, Cao Gio is a form of therapy used to relieve a varitey of illnesses including; fevers, chills, nausea, and etc. . Most of the Southeast Asian countries to pratice this were Vietnam, Camodia, and Laos.

Cao Gio is translated to "catch the wind". Illness was believeed to caused by the unbalanced or excess wind in a humans body. Coining is however believed to relieve this wind and restoring the balance to the.
